Glen Mcgaha

A financial professional since 1992, Glen offers his clients the kind of in–depth knowledge of financial strategies that comes from 30 years of experience. His credentials include a Series 65 securities license and the Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow (LUTCF) accreditation. He also obtained his Financial Services Certified Professional (FSCP) designation in 2022. In earning these credentials, Glen was required to rely on a thorough understanding of insurance and investments, as well as long–term sectors like retirement and estate planning.

“I work as an independent financial professional,” Glen says, “so I don’t answer to financial companies or brokerages, and am not beholden to any products or sales goals. I’m free to scour the market for the options that best suit my clients’ circumstances.”

Glen’s education, together with his experience, enables him to offer clients one–stop financial services—from comprehensive retirement planning, including lifetime income planning, to growing, preserving and transferring assets to the next generation. His approach to helping clients is distinctly personalized.

“I emphasize personalized service,” Glen says, “because everyone has different financial goals and is best served by strategies customized for his or her unique needs. My clients are like family. Much of what I recommend to my clients I follow myself or recommend to my own family. So, it’s a very holistic approach we take. We look at their goals and values, what they’re trying to accomplish and their timeline, and then we really individualize the plan to fit those needs.”

Due to the advice and services he provides, Glen has built a loyal following of clients, which has continued to grow through their referrals and recommendations.

Glen McGaha is also the founder and owner of Bayside We Insure, a family business. Bayside We Insure has been serving the Tampa Bay area and Hillsborough County for over 5 years as an independent insurance agency. As an independent insurance agent, Glen has the solid backing of 140 “A” rated insurance companies to bring more value to the table for his clients, than the typical agency. Glen uses this source-portfolio to create custom insurance solutions to fit the particular needs of his clients.

These custom Insurance solutions are the result of a focused work effort for individual clients. It involves research, analysis, policy comparison, and evaluation of  different insurance features and pricing and even calls to insurance companies to get a better deal. Away from the office, Glen participates in the Business Networking International branch for the Apollo Beach area. He loves spending time with his son, who is working on a Mechanical Engineering degree at the University of South Florida. And he enjoys working out, boating, fishing, snorkeling and visiting area beaches, including Pine Key (“Beercan”) Island.
